Community Community Advisory Boards history and Purpose The Community Advisory Boards (CABs) were established as part of the Attentive Energy Two (AE2) offshore wind project to foster local engagement, support workforce development, and ensure community voices are integrated into the project’s development. The CABs represent a diverse coalition of local institutions across New Jersey, particularly in Gloucester, Salem, and Union Counties. Spotlight on CAB Member: Gateway Community Action Partnership Hosts a Mini Farmers Market This June, student members of Gateway Community Action Partnership Youth Council and Summer Camp hosted a mini farmers market at the Paulsboro Juneteenth Celebration event where residents were able to pick fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and plants. Most of the items were grown from Gateway’s collaborative efforts with the Paulsboro Senior Center, Boys and Girls Club, and the Loudenslager Elementary School Community Garden. This event provided tomato, bell pepper, cucumber, eggplant, melon plants available for the community to take helping to feed residents of the South Jersey community. Attentive Energy is proud to be a supporter of Gateway Community Action Partnership’s sustainability programs this summer.
