EnBW Fisheries Liaison Returns to the Docks EnBW North America’s Fisheries Liaison Beth Casoni April 29, 2021After a year of COVID-19 restrictions, EnBW North America’s Fisheries Liaison Beth Casoni is back at the docks,* eager to connect with commercial and recreational fishermen and mariners. On her first trip of many planned in the New York Bight for 2021, Beth met with Long Island fishermen at the Greenport, Shinnecock and Montauk fishing ports to answer questions about the company and industry and take their insights back to EnBW to better understand how the fishing and marine industries can coexist with offshore wind. Although EnBW North America does not yet hold a federal offshore lease, early and frequent engagement is at the core of our mission and is the cornerstone to responsible offshore development. Beth welcomes fishermen and mariners to reach out to her directly with their questions and ideas. EnBW encourages all commercial and recreational fishermen to take our online questionnaire to learn more about how they fish and transit in New York Bight waters: www.enbw.us/fishingsurvey. Beth’s next port visits will be in New Jersey in May. She hopes to see you there – reach out to meet with her by calling/texting in advance (508) 738-1245 or sending her an email at b.casoni@enbw.com. *EnBW puts the health and safety of our team and our stakeholders first.
