In 2018, Attentive Energy opened its doors and began a dedicated stakeholder engagement program years before its successful lease auction, learning first-hand how to best serve our communities. Join Our Team History Our journey in the New York Bight The Attentive Energy team has engaged stakeholders and maintained a local presence in the New York Bight since 2018. We put the shared success that comes from partnering with communities at the forefront of our mission and are building a team of individuals who excel in their fields and embrace that mission wholeheartedly. In February 2022, Attentive Energy secured Lease Area OCS-A 0538 in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s offshore wind lease auction establishing our long-term presence in the New York Bight. Our team is committed to continue its years-long stakeholder approach by closely collaborating with a broad coalition of stakeholder to bolster a new clean energy economy in New York and New Jersey. 2018 Team offices open in Jersey City, NJ and Boston, MA beginning stakeholder engagement 2019 Fisheries Liaison joins team and commences outreach guided by Fisheries Communications Plan 2020 Team adds key members, doubling in size despite the COVID-19 pandemic 2021 TotalEnergies enters the newly named Attentive Energy project in the New York Bight February 2022 Attentive Energy secures Lease Area OCS-A 0538 in BOEM’s federal lease auction About TotalEnergies Attentive Energy is the subsidiary of TotalEnergies Renewables USA.
