Project Contracts Lead

As Project Contracts Lead of Attentive Energy, James is responsible for coordinating and supervising all the activities related to the Project Contract Strategy and the management of major contracts preparation up to FID. Upon approval and execution of the Contract Strategy, James will have a more dedicated focus on the Foundation and T&I packages.

James has been with TotalEnergies for 11 years and most recently spent 2.5 years working on the construction of the Seagreen Windfarm in Scotland. On Seagreen, James supported the Marine Installation Package as Commercial Manager on the SG1A Extension and Dispute Resolution on the SWEL WTG Package. Through Seagreen, James developed a thorough understanding of the supply chain and contractual risks associated with Offshore Wind Projects. Prior to joining Seagreen, James was Project Manager for a number of smaller subsea construction projects in the UK and has spent periods on major projects in Spain, Norway and Australia.

James has a shared background between commercial and technical and has graduated five universities with BSc Maritime Technology, MSc Remote Sensing, MBA Energy Management and Postgraduate Certificate in Law and worked offshore for many years in both survey and subsea construction.
