Attentive Energy: Listening to Jersey in June July 2, 2024 What We Learned in New Jersey Last Month The Attentive Energy team kicked off the summer season by connecting with communities throughout New Jersey that will foster meaningful collaborative relationships. Our team has continued to participate in industry conferences, share insights with civic organizations, engage with local residents and hold conversations at the many summer fairs and festivals taking shape. Check out where we’ve been lately, and we look forward to seeing you out there this season! NJEDA’s Windy Wednesdays – Offshore Wind Open Houses The Attentive team had the pleasure of participating in New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA) inaugural statewide Open Houses last month and speaking with hundreds of NJ residents. These forums gave us the opportunity to share information about the Attentive Energy Two project directly with local residents, answer questions and speak with community members from all over the state, as well as share offshore wind Virtual Reality activities. This exciting seasonal partnership – “powered by wind” – supports the growth of sustainable shipping in the region, maritime infrastructure and education on our waterways. Read more about our partnership with the Schooner here and keep an eye out for more voyages soon along the coast! More Wind in the Sails for New Jersey Sustainable Sail Freight – Attentive Energy Celebrating Offshore Wind in New Jersey We also recently celebrated Global Wind Day at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, attended the 10th Annual New Jersey League of Conservation Voters Gala in Somerset, and discussed the components and benefits of the AE2 project at New Jersey Alliance for Action’s Offshore Wind Conference in Monroe. We appreciate the work and dedication of all these great organizations. We’re looking forward to another busy and exciting summer season in Jersey – stay tuned for more information and news in the weeks ahead. Join Our Team Looking for a career in offshore wind?
