Brian LeFebvre leads Attentive Energy’s Marine Affairs efforts. Brian’s marine background is rooted in over two decades of service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Serving as a deck officer aboard USCG ships early in his career, his approach to our project’s development is guided by the perspective of on-water mariners who routinely navigate the sea’s many challenges. As the USCG representative to the U.S. Senate, he balanced cross-cutting marine industry priorities while advancing legislative solutions that maximized benefits and preserved safety. In his final USCG assignment, as Captain of the Port in Portland, Maine, he worked closely with island communities, fishermen and their families, and the Northern New England marine industry to overcome regulatory challenges, investigate tragic marine casualties, and minimize the Covid-19 pandemic’s impacts on marine commerce.

Brian’s extensive marine affairs experience blended with his willingness to listen to all sides of an issue, align seamlessly with the values we’ve established for Attentive Energy.
