Permitting & Environmental Compliance Specialist

Erica is the Permitting & Environmental Compliance Specialist and ensures that the Attentive Energy offshore wind project maintains Federal and State environmental regulatory, permit, and lease compliance during project life cycle. Previously, Erica worked two years as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young’s climate change and sustainability services practice in New York City. During her time at EY, she provided support in decarbonization strategy and net-zero goal setting, GHG and air emissions management and reporting, and EHS audits for clients across different industries including energy, consumer products, and media and communications. 

Before moving to New York, Erica lived ten years in Texas, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Rice University and master’s degree in petroleum engineering from UT-Austin. She also worked as an environmental consultant for four years in Houston and specialized in air permitting and dispersion modeling, multi-media environmental compliance, and environmental due diligence.
