Juli Schroeger

Permitting Specialist

As the Permitting Specialist for Attentive Energy, Juli will support Construction and Operations Plan (COP) development and federal/state permitting activities, in addition to engaging with key regulatory stakeholders.

Prior to joining Attentive Energy, Juli spent three years in consulting, working with cross-sector clients on environmental permitting, stakeholder engagement, and economic development strategy for the regional offshore wind industry. Juli has worked on multiple offshore wind projects across the Northeast, supporting the development of COPs and leading large bid scopes for PPA solicitations in several states. Before pivoting to offshore wind, Juli led environmental programming for a community-based organization in Rockaway Beach, Queens. As a former SCUBA instructor, Juli is driven by her love for the ocean and coastal communities. Juli has a Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke University, a Certificate in Natural Hazards Resilience from UNC, and a Bachelor’s in Marine Biology from UNC-Wilmington.
