Laura Klewicki

Federal Permitting Specialist

Before joining TotalEnergies, Laura served as an environmental planner for a consulting firm, where she focused on permitting and compliance for renewable energy generation and transmission, water supply and infrastructure, as well as coastal restoration projects. She has been involved in the offshore wind industry since 2014.

Laura received her master’s degree in environmental science from Yale School of the Environment and her bachelor’s in environmental technology and management with a minor in environmental toxicology from N.C. State University.

As the Federal Permitting Specialist at TotalEnergies, Laura will be a key member of the Permitting Team in establishing strong relationships with federal stakeholders including regulatory agencies and public entities, communities, consultants, and environmental organizations. In addition, she will be responsible for the planning and implementation of federal permitting for the Attentive Energy – New York Bight offshore wind project, including developing the project’s SAP, COP, and other federal permits.
