Policy & Regulatory Affairs Specialist

As the Policy and Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Lily will manage and execute the offshore wind project’s public policy and government affairs strategy across a diverse set of relevant platforms and public entities in New York and New Jersey. This position will represent and drive Attentive Energy’s agenda with government representatives and in public forums on policy and legislative issues before industry and trade organizations, and at offshore wind industry events.

Previously, Lily served as an offshore wind analyst for a NYC-based consulting firm, focusing on stakeholder engagement, economic benefits, and workforce development plans for developers. She has also worked as an energy sector journalist and economic analyst with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Lily received her bachelor’s in environmental studies with minors in economics and sustainable business from Fordham University. During her semester abroad in New Zealand, she conducted her own research into the effects of ocean acidification on the national economy, along with policy recommendations to curb agricultural emissions, which were presented to policy leaders across Australasia.
