Onshore Transmission Manager

As the Onshore Transmission Manager for Attentive Energy, Jarett will be responsible for the technical interface management and design development between the Project and the Pre-Build Infrastructure (PBI) Developer (to be awarded), Mid-Atlantic Offshore Development, and others ensuring technical requirements are fulfilled and the Project’s full energy can be delivered to the PJM grid. He will also support the export package and interconnection activities.

Prior to joining Attentive Energy, Jarett served as Head of Transmission for Bluepoint Wind, an Ocean Winds and GIP joint venture located in the New York Bight. He focused on overall project strategy and technical development of the transmission system from the offshore substation through to the Point of Interconnection. Before stepping into the Head of Transmission role, he served as the Technical Manager for the Ocean Winds business development team. Jarett has an extensive background in transmission and distribution engineering having consulted for major engineering firms globally in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Additionally, he worked for Maui Electric for two years as an Energy Contract Manager, responsible for the Feed-In Tariff program and delivery of the first two utility-scale solar farms on the island, as well as working on the company’s electrification of transportation strategy.

Jarett received his Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He earned Chartered Engineer (CEng) status from the UK’s Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2014 and became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2018.
